Museum Campus
As a visitor to the University of Chicago, we want you to experience Chicago like the students do. Head north to the Museum Campus, home of the Field Museum, Adler Planetarium, and Shedd Aquarium. University of Chicago students can be found admiring Sue the dinosaur, stargazing in the Sky Theater at Adler, and enjoying the dolphin show at the Shedd. UChicago’s involvement with the Museum Campus does not stop there; students interested in archaeology, ethnography, paleontology, or evolutionary biology work side-by-side with Field Museum staff members through seminars and internships. The Field’s state-of-the-art laboratories are frequented by UC students interested in molecular systematics, morphometrics, and biomechanics. Students can study the stars using the Apache Point Observatory telescope alongside cutting edge researchers from Adler Planetarium, while those enrolled in the Molecular Approaches in Zoology class have visited the Shedd for a hands-on approach to learning.

Second City
After exploring Chicago’s museum campus, check out the Second City comedy club! The Second City was founded by two UChicago alumni in 1953, Mike Nichols and Bernard Sahlins, and remains popular with students today. Offering over fifty years of improvisational humor, the club enjoys a reputation for the best sketch comedy on politics and society in the city of Chicago. Famous alumni include Dan Castellanetta, John Belushi, Stephen Colbert, and Tina Fey. Who knows which future stars are in this year's revue? See a show at either the Mainstage or the e.t.c. stage for a truly classic comedy experience in the home of the Chicago style of improvised and sketch comedy. Sit back, relax, and let the laughter overcome you as the world’s best comedians entertain!
